Safety measures, inspection items and operation sequence for tower crane removal

The demolition process of tower crane is a stage of frequent tower crane accidents. Safety measures and inspection items for tower crane demolition must be well done, and construction must be carried out in accordance with the strict order of tower crane removal.

1. Warning lines shall be set up in the disassembly area, marked with obvious signs and under the supervision of special personnel.

2. Check whether the performance of the removed tower crane is good, no fatigue damage to the metal structure, no weld cracking, welding, no serious corrosion, and no loosening of the bolts of the rotary support.

The steel wire rope, pulley block, electrical equipment, jacking mechanism, lifting rotary mechanism, etc., should be carefully inspected before disassembly, found problems need to be qualified rectification before the operation.

Remove the standard section of tower crane and the attached wall frame

(1) check whether the regulating wheel on the jacket is pressed on the outer surface of the main chord of the tower body, if the clearance is too large, need to be adjusted to 3 ~ 5mm.

Hang up the counterweight, remove the high strength bolt connecting the lower support with the standard section and the standard section, start the jacking oil pump, make the standard section out of the tower, then slowly push to the external end of the introduced beam, then start the oil pump to slow down, carefully observe the movement of the casing frame relative to the jacking beam and the tower body, and stop the operation immediately if there is any abnormal situation.

Remove the boom. Park the big boom at the designated position, and the car crane at the center of the big boom. The center of the big boom is 17.5m away from the root of the big boom, and the distance between the two wire rope lifting points is not less than 6m.

Slowly lifting the rod is in a state of relaxation, dismantle the tie pin, the hoisting wire rope tension rod, smooth down to the specified location, unload large arm connected to the bearing pin shaft, and the roots in the big arm and arm head department had a narrow squeak,

Remove the cab. Check the electrical wiring of the cab, remove the electrical and pin shaft of the cab, and lift it to the designated position with the truck crane.

Remove the balance arm. Stop the truck crane at the center of the balance arm, remove the left piece of balance weight, set the lifting rope, slowly rise to a certain height, loosen the balance rod, remove the balance arm and the upper support pin shaft, tie the safety rope, slowly fall to the designated position.

Remove the tower cap. Mobile truck crane, tie the lifting rope, remove the connecting pin shaft, slowly lift, smoothly put in the designated position.

Remove the upper and lower support, slewing support and slewing mechanism, loosen the fixing bolt of slewing mechanism, and slowly lift the truck crane to the fixed position. Loosen the connecting bolt between the support and the socket, tie the lifting cable, lift slowly, and put the upper and lower support and the slewing support in the designated position.

Remove the casing holder. Remove the oil tank, jacking mechanism and enclosure railing on the casing frame, fix the jacking oil cylinder, slowly lift the whole casing frame。

Making the casing frame rise slowly along the standard section, and the regulating wheel should rotate evenly until the whole casing frame is separated from the standard section, and then put it in the designated position.
